Worlds Innovate Award Robot

The 2021-2022 VEX U robot brought the full system together: a four-bar lift, intake rollers, pivoting deposit tray, drivetrain packaging, independent odometry wheels, and PID position correction for autonomous routines.

Integrating hardware, software, and service access

I led the robot as a full-system build: linkage geometry, roller drive ratio, tray pivot, tracking wheel placement, autonomous correction, and pit service access all had to work together under match conditions.

Innovate Award at World Championships

The robot earned the Innovate Award at Worlds and ranked third in qualification rounds. More importantly for me, it became the clearest example of mechatronic integration: mechanism design, controls, team leadership, and real competition support in one project.
